What I mean is that, CHANGE is not a ONE MAN mission. People in this country are still self-indulgent assholes. When people start changing in this country I'll feel better, maybe more proud.

Thing is Obama has a tough climb, and he BETTER perform... THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING!

Without the help of the masses, we as a country will fall on our faces.

"Proud" is such a strong word in this circumstance. "Hope" or "A better chance of being PROUD" are better words. This country is still way fucked up. The corporations still have their powerful hand deep inside Obama's asshole, playing him like they want him to play.

And, watching the speech last night I think he realized that. He even seemed like he couldn't believe it.

And, McCain's speech... Wow! Now, my politics don't match him, mostly, but what a MAN!

I guess when push comes to shove, I'll be waiting to see what happens. To be "proud" of America (the government) that's gonna be tough for me. We're still going down the path of of supporting the Military Industrial Complex and the New World Order.

FYI, Obama said in his speech (last night) that he will listen to us. So I say on DAY ONE we all write him (listing out what WE want) and see if "HE" responds.
